Create and manage risk assessment templates for student events (ACE) within your school.

Use the risk assessment template
  • In student events (ACE): Risk assessment templates can be used as a starting point when adding a new risk assessment to a student event.

  • Customise: You can use the templates as-is or modify them to suit the specific needs of the event.

  • Create from scratch: You can also create risk assessments from scratch without using a template.

Create a risk assessment template for student events (ACE)
  1. Click Add Risk Assessment.

  2. Enter details:

    • Name: Enter a descriptive name for the template (required).

    • Description: Describe the risk event, potential causes, and potential consequences (required).

    • Controls: Describe existing controls (policies, procedures, practices) to minimise the risk (required).

    • Consequence Criteria (Optional):

      • Select a consequence level (Insignificant to Severe) for each category:

        • Strategic

        • Reputation

        • Financial

        • Compliance and Legal

        • Service Delivery

        • Learning and Teaching

        • Well-being and Safety

        • Information and Technology (IT)

    • Risk Ratings (Optional):

      • Likelihood: Select from "Rare" to "Almost Certain."

      • Consequences: Select from "Insignificant" to "Catastrophic/Severe."

      • Effectiveness: Select from "Unknown" to "Good" (effectiveness of existing controls).

    • Treatment:

      • Action: Select from "Monitor-low risk" to "Treat-high risk" (required).

      • Treatment Details: Describe any necessary treatment actions (e.g., "Implement new procedures," "Provide additional training"). Specify who is accountable and when the action will be taken.

  3. Click Save.

Modify details of a student event (ACE) risk assessment template
  1. Select template name from the list.

  2. Make changes.

  3. Click Save.

Delete a risk assessment template from student events (ACE)
  1. Select template name from the list.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Confirm the deletion.
