Staff Reviews
This module facilitates the management of staff annual reviews, encompassing creation, distribution, and tracking.
Filter and search staff reviews
Use the filter options in the top toolbar to set your desired criteria.
Select review period: Select from the menu options.
Click Search to apply the filters and display the results.
Export a spreadsheet of review period staff summary
Click the Export button.
Locate the downloaded file (usually in your "Downloads" folder).
Open the file using a spreadsheet application (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
Print if needed.
Send email to staff review participants
Click Email.
Select recipients from menu options.
Enter details.
Click Send.
View charts of staff reviews
Explore interactive charts that provide a comprehensive overview of staff review progress and reviewer assignments. Visualise key metrics and track performance.
Delete staff reviews
You can delete reviews that have been distributed but have not yet been started by staff members.
This option is only available for reviews in the initial "Goals" (Stage 1).
Reviews with any completed work by staff members cannot be deleted.
Click Delete.
Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the review.

Review stages overview
Goals (Stage 1): Establish initial objectives aligned with the review criteria.
Achievements (Stage 2): Document progress and demonstrate how goals were accomplished.
Complete: The review is finalised, and no further edits are permitted.
Complete but Standards Not Met: The review is finalised; however, certain standards require further attention.
Change the stage of a staff review
Use the checkboxes to select the desired review(s).
Click the Change Stage button.
Choose the new stage from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the stage change to update the review status.
Create and distribute staff reviews
This feature allows you to create and distribute reviews to staff members. Creating new reviews will not affect or overwrite any existing reviews. Your current data will remain intact and accessible.
Before creating reviews
Ensure all information is accurate and ready for distribution:
Criteria for each classification are complete.
Review period is set up correctly.
All current staff have been entered into the EMS360 system.
Staff to review are Active -inactive staff will not receive a review.
The correct classifications have been assigned to staff.
Reviewer and mentor staff roles are up to date.
Options for creating staff reviews:
Manually for Selected Staff: Create reviews for individual staff members.
Manually for Staff by Classification: Create reviews for all staff within a specific classification.
Automatically for All Staff: Create reviews for all active staff members.
Create a staff review
Select Review Period: Choose the desired review period from the dropdown menu.
Click Create Reviews.
Select review recipients:
Manually: Select individual staff members or select staff by classification.
Automatically: Create reviews for all active staff members.
Click Create.
Confirm creation of reviews.
A message will display the number of reviews created.
Click OK to confirm action.
The system creates and distributes the reviews to the selected staff members.
Repeat this process to create reviews for multiple staff or classifications.
Setup review periods
Manage staff reviews search results
The grid displays your filtered results with action columns for managing individual items. Each action column contains icons that allow you to perform specific tasks.
Icon button states in the action columns
Icons change to indicate status.
Outline icon: Indicates no content has been added.
Filled icon: Indicates content has been added or the action is complete.

Complete - not all standards met
Modify individual staff classifications for staff reviews
Available for reviews in the "Goals" (Stage 1).
Work not started
Click the Update Classification icon button.
Confirm the update.
The existing review is deleted, and a new review for the updated classification is created.
Work Started - Goals set
Click the Update Classification & send email icon button.
Confirm the update.
This process will replace the existing review and automatically send an email notification to the staff member, including details of their current goal information.
Delete a staff review
This option is only available for reviews in the initial "Goals" (Stage 1).
Work not started
Click Delete icon button.
Confirm the permanent deletion.
Work started
Click Delete and send email icon button.
Confirm the permanent deletion.
An email notification will be sent to the staff member.
Push back a staff review
Click Push back icon button.
This action reverts a completed review to a previous stage, making it editable again.
Assign reviewers and mentors to a staff review
Click in the Reviewer or Mentor cell to select it.
Click the triangle icon to open the dropdown menu.
Choose the desired reviewer or mentor from the dropdown menu.
Changes are saved automatically.
