Student event (ACE) file types

This module allows you to create and manage the different file types required for student events (ACE) within your school. You can also upload proforma template files for each file type to assist staff in preparing the necessary documents.

Status indicators of file types for student events (ACE):

• Inactive: The file type is not currently in use.

• Active: The file type is currently in use.

• Usage: The number of student events currently using this file type is indicated.

Status indicators of proforma templates for professional learning (PL) event files:

An icon indicates whether a proforma template file has been uploaded for each file type.

Example file type names for student events (ACE):

• Accommodation Details

• Activity Program

• Equipment List (Staff)

• Equipment List (Student)

• Parent Indemnity Form

• Planning Checklist

• Risk Assessment

• Other

Create a file type for student events (ACE)

1. Click Add File Type.

2. Enter details:

   • Name (required)

3. Click Save.

Modify details of a student event (ACE) file type

1. Select the File Type name from the list.

2. Make changes.

3. Click Save.

Change the status of a student event (ACE) file type (Active/Inactive)

To toggle the status between active and inactive, follow these steps:

1. Select the File Type name from the list.

2. Click Make Inactive (to deactivate) or Make Active (to activate).

Note: The button label will update dynamically based on the current status.

Delete a file type from student events (ACE)

This action can only be performed for file types that are not currently associated with any student events.

1. Select the File Type name from the list.

2. Click Delete.

3. Confirm the deletion.

Proforma template files

Once a file type has been created, a proforma template file can be uploaded as a reference resource for staff when including required files for a student event.

Upload a proforma template for student events (ACE)

1. Click Browse to select a proforma template file.

2. Click Upload.

Download a proforma template for student events (ACE)

1. Click the file name to download the current proforma template file.

Replace a proforma template for student events (ACE)

1. Click Browse to select the new proforma template file.

2. Click Upload.
